European sports sponsorship impact evaluation leader adopts Idioma's SmartLog software solution to digitize the 24/7 media monitoring of 85 channels.

Karlsruhe, Netanta, November 7th , 2005 -- Idioma Ltd., the established leader in end-to-end audio and video workflow solutions, today announced that prominent European sports sponsorship-monitoring firm IFM Medienanalysen GmbH has adopted the SmartLog platform to completely revamp and digitize its operational workflow.

IFM provides its clients worldwide with documented evidence of the quantity and quality of sports broadcast sponsorship coverage. In Germany, by way of example, the company delivers complete and uninterrupted documentation of sports broadcasting on over 85 TV channels.

IFM's previous workflow - based on VHS recording, manual dissemination of material, manual analysis (using handheld stopwatches), and paper documentation - needed to be modernized, and was actually impeding the company's ability to expand its business.

Seeking a solution to allow a smooth transition to digital video recording and archiving, an easy-to-implement networked workflow, and computer-based analysis and documentation of broadcast sponsorship information - IFM chose Idioma's SmartLog platform.

"We are now able to provide more advanced services and more accurate reporting to clients", said Heinz Abel, CEO of IFM. "SmartLog helps us tangibly demonstrate to clients the efficacy of a given sponsorship - based on hard digital facts," he concluded.

"With SmartLog, IFM has been able to increase workload capacity many times over, without raising OpEx or adding more staff - leading to increased revenue and profitability," noted Ziv Gottesfeld, CEO of Idioma. "We were pleased to see productivity rise in IFM as a result of their adoption of SmartLog - especially in such a strenuous environment - encoding, recording, indexing, disseminating, and monitoring 85 channels of video simultaneously," he continued.
